Joanne is a Director of Engineering at Rad AI, AWS Community Builder, and Orlando AWS User Group Leader, with over 15 years of experience wrangling full-stack code (and toddlers). She leads teams building scalable, cloud-native applications and is on a mission to make tech more accessible, especially for women and underrepresented groups. When she’s not debugging distributed systems, she’s navigating the chaos of motherhood with her two boys, running all-girl coding camps, and user group meetups. Equal parts engineer, educator, and snack-time negotiator, Joanne proves you can ship code and raise humans—just not always at the same time.
